Paint to Change

Paint to Change

Malaak’s {Paint to Change} project, intiated in May 2013, was a great success.

Children worked on art pieces that they later sold knowing that proceeds went to help Syrian refugees. The Syrian Crises caused a direct threat to the lebanese as refugees are now scattered all around the country with no safe place to stay.

The {Paintin to Change} project was able to fundraise 10,000$, building durable tents for 10 families in the lebanese city of Halba. Thus containing refugees in a safe hostile environment away from the city.

Here are pictures of the tents in Halba, now housing over 10 families. Thank you to all the participated in making this dream come true.

Nothing is more satisfying than a roof over your head, built and funded by you chidren’s hard work.
